Film Review: Skyfall

On Friday I went to see the new James Bond film Skyfall. Now, I am a huge fan of Casino Royale and consequently was worried how this one would live up to those expectations. But, I am pleased to report, I loved this one!
– It was a very British film; he went to a couple of exotic locations but the majority was London and Scotland. Shanghai looked awesome though.
– I felt like there was something off with Eve (Naomie Harris). Their banter wasn’t all that great and… I don’t know… just something… I mean, she was fine, just not amazing.
– I was prepared to dislike Severine (Berenice Marlohe) as from the trailers it looked they’d copied her look from Vesper (Eva Green). But I found I liked her and Berenice was a really good actress – she looked really scared.
– Silva (Javier Bardem) looked to me like a silly parody in the trailers. But oh my gosh, he was creepy. He was a perfect villain, but one you also felt sorry for. I had no idea what he was going to do next, although he had this grand plan and then when it came to pulling it off it seemed not very well thought out.
