Milan fashion week; lots of top designers here. I absolutely loved D&G (sadly this is their last season as they’re being combined with Dolce and Gabbana). It was all colourful silky scarves with amazing shoes and coin-y gypsy-like earrings and necklaces. The finale was all the models in a row wearing floaty colourful dresses. Very pretty! The first half of Dolce and Gabbana was full of prints of vegetables- chillis, onions, tomatoes, aubergines – the second half was their typical style and the finale had them all coming down in tiny sparkly costumes, bare legs and arms. Versace was typical Versace style but this time with starfish and seahorses printed on the dresses – I loved it, it was so pretty and the shoes were so amazing. I didn’t really think much of Prada this season. Last season I thought their fish scale sequins were lots of fun but this season its all pretty floral prints that I’m not a fan of.
Anyway. Now its into the last week of fashion month – Paris – and I’m looking forward to Isabel Marant, Christian Dior and Lanvin today!
