Film Review: Salt

I’m innocent! Someone is setting me up!

First day out and first showing in the cinema- at 11.15am! There were like fifteen of us watching it.
Overall I thought it was an awesome film, similar to the Bourne series, but with more blood and violence. I’ve no idea why it was a 12A, it should at least have been a 12. I mean, it wasn’t that bad but still. Lots of action and, I’ve heard some people say the story wasn’t realistic or the dialogue was bad, but I didn’t think it was. And even if it was, who cares? It meant lots of chases and fighting.
As you probably know, she dyes her hair black from blonde and she also wears disguises, like hats, contacts and some false teeth. This is way more realistic than Bourne. I mean, he goes around looking exactly the same but gets the girls he’s with to dye their hair and chop it all off. I love the Bourne films but at least wear a different coat.
Anyway, back to Salt. There were lots of twists and turns and at some points it was difficult to tell why she was doing things. But it all makes sense by the end. It was all very dramatic, which is always cool, like slow-mo walking and things blowing up behind her. Which sounds cheesy but it made Salt- the character- even cooler.
At one point, Salt had a prosthetic face and she looked absolutely nothing like herself! It was really odd. Maybe Angelina should wear prosthetics so she can go outside without being stalked.
So yeah, it was a really awesome film and I can’t wait for it to come out on DVD!!
