It’s only when we wake up that we realise something was strange…
Yes! I finally got to go see it last night at a smaller cinema where we were the first ones in! And it was awesome!! I can see why all the reviewers gave it five stars!
I thought I would get confused with what was and what wasn’t a dream, but it was easy enough to figure out what was reality and as long as you kept track of who’s dream they were in- which wasn’t hard- the film wasn’t difficult to understand at all.
Some scenes were amazing with the special effects and everything. Like there was this one bit where, because in reality the car with them asleep in was spinning over and over, in the dream the gravity went crazy and the corridor they were in started going around too! And then when the car was falling, there was just no gravity at all in the dream and he was floating around!
Of course the acting was amazing and you really believed people could go inside other people’s dreams. Marion Cotillard was kind of creepy and you didn’t want her to appear as you didn’t know what she was going to do and Leonardo DiCaprio was amazing, you really thought he was the character. Joseph Gordon-Levitt must have had fun in the film as he was the one floating around in zero-gravity!
Even though the film was about 2 and a half hours long, it didn’t seem like it and there was plenty of action so I was kept happy! And the ending. I won’t tell you what happens, spoilers and everything, but it’ll keep you talking for the journey back home at least.
Overall, this was one of the best films I’ve seen in a while and you should definitely go see it!! I want to see it again!
